So here I sit writing my 100th post. Wow! I can't believe I have written that much. Those who know me well are probably not surprised as I have a tendency to not be able to stop talking.
So here's my story...my blog reading used to primarily consist of Perez Hilton, Project RunGay, and All Lacquered Up. Then after the election, and Michelle Obama and the J Crew love, through this and that article and blogs, I found my way to J Crew Aficionadas. And from there, ventured out to Slastena, Gigi, Fabulous Florida Mommy, Dinagideon, A Bigger Closet, Joyce. And then I thought maybe I should start one. It would be a fun, creative outlet, and why not try. And I actually did most of it myself. I started with the very dorky How to Do Everything with Your Web 2.0 Blog book (hey, mid-late 30's here, we didn't blog in high school) and then one Saturday evening (February 22 to be exact), I took the plunge and started blogging. And so here we are, 100 posts later.
It has been a lot of fun. Very educational, without question, both in terms of what I have learned about blogging and what I have learned about...everything else. Very rewarding for me. I have learned so much from all of you and I like to think that you have learned a little something from me.
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog, to those who comment, and those who don't comment but silently enjoy. I really value all of you. Thank you to my "followers", I love that you enjoy my blog enough to follow and stay linked in on a regular basis. Thank you to those who commented on my very 1st post on Saturday, February 22: Dinagideon (my first commenter, yay!), Sherry (who gave me my list of possible blog names from which to choose since my brain was a complete blank), Joyce, Slastena, and FabulousFloridaMommy. And to the rest of you who took the time to comment at the very beginning, thank you so much, you really encouraged me to keep at it.
Now that I've gotten here, what next? You tell me. I would love to hear back what you like, what you don't, what you would like to see more or less, what you think I should add.
And thanks for listening...
