Later, Dudes! (just for the weekend)

I am getting ready...well, not getting ready yet, I am doing laundry so that I can pack and get ready to go away for a girls' weekend. 2 friends and I are headed to Lansdowne for the weekend. Really, just 1 night away. Yay! Spa stuff tomorrow, lounging around reading magazines, dinner out, sleeping in, and then some outlet shopping on the way home. Just a nice break from the everyday realities.

So here is my Polyvore set of what I am packing (once the laundry is done) - along with some cozy sweats for the hotel room that I didn't even bother to find on PV, and a suit for hanging out at the pool (with SPF & a hat, natch):
Girls' Weekend - 5/16-17
Girls' Weekend - 5/16-17 by HeidiGblog featuring J Crew Clothing

In other exciting (for me) Polyvore news, I was listed on Polyvore's blog in Monday's post - Polyvore Love Letters - Blog Roundup. From their blog:
Polyvore makes blogging fun! Bloggers all over the world use Polyvore sets to
visually express themselves and we want to show them some love here. Take a peek
at some of the latest blog posts we came across that feature Polyvore sets:

Click here for the article. Mine was even the first they showed. Wow. As cool as that is (and I'm not quite sure how they found me), it still pales in comparison to the lovely AweSummmm awards from some of you other lovely bloggers! And I promise I will do my AweSummm post when I get back. Which brings me to the next point...

I am leaving my laptop at home so that I can truly take a break. I will catch up with you all late Sunday or on Monday. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Well deserved, Heidi! I'm amazed at how easy it comes to you and other bloggers to create beautiful sets on Polyvore, I'm so jalous as I know that I will never have the hang of it.

Have fun with your girlfriends. I haven't been on a girl's weekend in soooo long ....

Yeah...I saw that on Thursday and totally forgot to e-mail you. I suck. I am glad someone told you (someone with all their marbles).

CONGRATS!!! VERY AWESOME. :)

Love your polyvore set of the trip pieces. You are going to have a great time! (I am also slightly jealous.) Have fun!

Thanks, ladies. The weekend was lovely. So nice just to hang out and have some girl time! Spa stuff wasn't too shabby, either. ;) And the outlets are always fun (purchases to be included on next post as I am wearing 2 of them today).

Thanks also for the congrats on the PV article. For those of you who don't do PV, the only advice I can give is just that it's learning by doing. Jump in and start playing...and soon you too will be addicted. :)

anon@5:34 - I just posted some info about the outlets. If you are looking for something more specific, feel free to ask.
