Broke out the Bubbly...

Yech, another rainy, gray day. Well, April showers, I suppose. So hard to motivate this morning. Vet visit in the morning for Lucy. (By the way, her coat is gorgeous - vet was most complimentary! And she is 22 lbs! She was 14 lbs when we got her.) The rain is just coming down. Wanted warmth. Start with jeans. Wool sweater - um, charcoal cardigan so it's not too heavy since it *is* April. Lighten up a bit with white boyfriend vneck (since it's so soft, too). A fave pair of Isaac Mizrahi loafers from the good-old-days at Target. Love these. But it needs something more... and then I saw it. The Erickson Beamon Long Clear Bubble Bead Necklace that I got on Friday, but had not yet worn. Totally transformed the whole look. (I will say that it would have been better to take it off before the vet visit, but wasn't too bad.) Such a fun piece!

Polyvore set:

Spring is supposed to be hitting us weather-wise tomorrow. Finally. Seriously, I need some sunshine! And Lucy really needs some more walks!

I really love the necklace - gorgeous!
As I am new, I understand that Lucy is a dog, right? (he he)

What about some photos of her?

In Lithuania, the weather has been pretty bad too. I keep snuggling my Elephant (water bottle).

Sparrows&Sparkles - thank you!

-Smile- thank you. yes, hehehe, Lucy is a puppy - she is 16-week-old Labradoodle. I post pics periodically of her. Try this post for the most recent. Keep snuggling that Elephant! I swapped out the flannel sheets for the regular, but still have the fuzzy blanket and down quilt. And I'm just a whiner about the cold when I think it should be warm.

I love the necklace, it really does transform your outfit, and what a bargain the necklace was! I think your whole look today is great...you look cozy too :)

That puppy is adorable... I can see the WILD side in her eyes from the pictures. Did you have many chewing problems? :)

I don't usually whine, but I have a protest and stay in my bed with a cup of tea/coffee. :)

GingerSnap - thank you. to be totally honest, I am ready to swap the cardi & jeans for yoga pants and massively cozy sweatshirt. (my jeans are sopping wet from walking Lucy, though, in my defense)

-Smile- Yes, we do have some chewing issues - mostly on us, not so much on the furniture. She is 16 weeks old and a Labradoodle, so I think it could be worse. And I have gone through multiple cups of tea today, too. :)

Heidi, i love it!!!! You know that this is my kind of necklace :-). It totally transformed the outfit. I have never tried the boyfriend tees and I don't know why because every talks about how wonderful they are. Are they see thru?

The necklace looks lovely on you and I think it really completes the outfit! I can't believe how much Lucy has grown!

Hi Heidi: You look so nice today and you know I love that necklace. Just beautiful on you.

So CW went to the doctor and she weighs 18 lbs and is 27 inches. I love that our "babies" got weighed and prodded on the same, yucky, gross day. (It came down, huh?)

My final thought for the day? I GOT A RETURNED PACKAGE IN THE MAIL...seems my dad wrote the address wrong! Could you e-mail me one more time and we'll get your hoop and my mommy card in the mail to you? YAY! I am so glad it came back...all faith goes back to USPS!

Patina - yes, I know this is your kind of necklace!!! As you know, I adore these tees. The only one that I think is see-thru is the white, which is VERY sheer. I have the shell and it is ok with a really good bra and light bottoms. With dark jeans, the pant color would probably show through. I have an IRL pic of the shell here. Haven't tried the natural. Other colors are totally fine.

Emily - thank you! Yes, she has grown. I realized how much at puppy class last week when the dachsund puppy that she played with at the start of class actually fit underneath her.

Cari - thank you - it's actually a BR sweater from this winter - the Michelle was the closest I could find on Polyvore.

Dina - did CW get shots, too? Although I'm guessing not Rabies, Lyme, Bordatella, etc. :) Yep, they are our baby girls!! Yay-restored faith in USPS! Will re-send my address now!! So glad to hear!!

Heidi - Nice outfit and the necklace makes even better! The BF tees are so comfy, I don't want to wear anything else but them.
Lucy is getting so big and cute!

Alexandra - thank you! yes, I do love the BF tees. I hear from AppGal that they have a few bright orange-y colors in now, so I am on the look out!!
