Wardrobe Challenge, Day #3

Big Day - 1st Vet Appointment - Lucy was so well-behaved. I was so proud!! That Puppies for Dummes book has really been fantastic - so sad, but it really is helpful. We are really working on the not jumping up.

With the vet visit, today's ensemble needed to be totally washable. And it was supposed to actually get to spring weather. Time to bring back out the J Crew Tissue, adding my tank and Chicos jeans... plus some cute canvas flats from LL Bean, and some pearls. Gotta have a little sparkle, huh? Looking at the pics I realize that I really probably did buy this hoodie a size larger than I needed. (this was the slimmest look of the hoodie in the pics) Oh yeah, and the camera totally cut off my head because it was one of those days and I took the pics later than usual and we were downstairs and I don't have a good pic spot downstairs yet.

I have been wearing a lot of short necklaces this week because they seem like the smartest choice. I can't wait to go back to longer and layered necklaces and/or bracelets - but right now with a 12-week-old puppy, I feel like that is just asking her to chew on me, you know. We are going to a happy hour on Friday and a dinner party on Saturday sans chien, so I am definitely jeweling up for those.

And what a gorgeous day it was! Back to colder temps tomorrow.

I loved how you added pearls to your look. Tres chic!!! I can't wait to see your weekend pics. BTW, lucky you. I have horror stories about alex's vet visit. (smile)

Its nice that you dressed up your outfit with the pearls! You would've been lucky to find me wearing makeup.

Gigi - they are actually slipons, not sneakers, but yes, same idea - and extremely comfy. Thanks!

ShopDiva - thanks! Trying to make the vet visit fun and pleasant and not nerve-wracking and nerve-inducing.

Joyce - yes, I did a few days ago, will probably include one today. She's a cutie!!

GingerSnap & PoseyFord- thanks! They work well because they don't dangle temptingly.

Lissa - thank you. That's kind of the point behind this - so that I don't just spiral down into slumpitude. Plus on the first few days when I had little sleep (mostly my fault, not puppy's), I needed the makeup for the visual boost.

FFM - thank you!

Such a cute casual outfit! I always have trouble creating outfits on casual days b/c I dress up so much during the week. I'm so glad you and other bloggers post your pictures with jeans b/c it really helps me get some ideas!

Emily - glad to help. Since I work 95% from home and am a mom the other 18 hours of the day, it seems that I do mostly casual - my challenge is to try to dress it up as I can.

Dina - oops, didn't want to hype weekend outfits too much, now I'll really have to give them some thought! :)
